Hair Extensions Care Tips

1. Dye your hair roots, refresh the color of your hair before the application of our hair extensions.

2. Detangle before washing. Prior to washing, gently detangle your hair extensions, using a wide-toothed comb or a special brush.

3. Never wash, brush or dry your hair with your head upside down. While washing throw your hair back, not forward.

4. Use only professional hair products (moisturizing shampoos, conditioners, masks and special oils) to give additional nourishing and moisturizing.

5. Pat dry. After washing, pat your extensions dry with a soft towel. Avoid vigorous rubbing, as it can cause tangles and damage.

6. Use heat protection. When styling with heat tools, use a heat protectant spray to shield the extensions from damage. Keep the heat at a moderate level.

7. Do not apply oil containing products to the root zone (conditioners and masks as well). Use it regularly, but for the length and ends.

8. Regular Brushing: Gently brush your extensions daily, starting from the tips and working your way up to the roots. Use a soft-bristle brush or a loop brush designed for extensions.

9. Don't go to bed with wet hair!

10. Protect When Swimming: Chlorine and saltwater can be harsh on extensions. If swimming, wear a swim cap or keep your hair above water.

11. Make a ponytail or a braid before going to bed. This will effectively prevent tangles.

12. Avoid tight ponytails and updos that put stress on the extensions, as it can cause damage.

13. Don’t cut them yourself. If you need a trim or restyling, always consult a professional stylist who is experienced with extensions.

14. Carefully dry and brush your hair starting with the ends firstly with a large-toothed comb, then with a special brush. Brush thoroughly twice a day.

15. You can reuse the Slavic hair extensions. Reapplication is determined individually by a hairdresser, as it depends on your personal hair growth. On average it should be done within 3 months.
